I live in New Brunswick, Canada.
I am fortunate to have a great group of friends who gather at my house to knit. We support local yarn stores, but also love to explore when we travel. Last year we enjoyed a road trip to WEBS in Northampton, MA, with a stop at Halcyon in Bath, Maine… couldn’t do much to top that! There’s nothing better than being on the road with fellow fibre addicts and a willing driver.
I also enjoy reading, writing, travelling, games nights with family and friends, people with a good sense of humour… oh, and pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain – really!

Hi Heather,
Good for your for starting your blog. I’ll keep an eye out for it. I’ve been meaning to start my own. How did you choose your blog platform? The sox look great, and the beret is just lovely.
Hope to meet you in the flesh as it were, one day soon.

WOW! This is great. I am inspired to create my own BLOG with my on-the-go projects for all to see. I’m hoping it’s enough to keep me at those half finished items for fear of being labelled as lazy……
Totally love the clogs, but may be beyond my capabilities. Let’s give it a decade or two of learning to do other things first.
I’ll keep you posted on my soon-to-be quilt blog.
Also, I have to comment on the excellent photos.

The knitted clogs are awesome! Maybe someday when I have time, I can learn to knit them. Thanks for including me in your blog.

Hi, friends,
This is my first – belated – comment to my incredibly talented sister’s blog. Way to go, Heather.
For all of you who are considering knitting the clogs, I can tell you (as a recipient of them) that they are fabulous. They are extremely warm – but not sweaty – and comfortable. Moreover, they have admirably withstood repeated washings in their short lifespan in my house.
Why, you ask?
Our thirteen-year-old lab-beagle cross who has a bladder the size of a medicine ball has had a number of “accidents” of late…thanks to my clogs I (thrice) blithely waded, unaware, through “Lake Urine”.
Enough said. They wash well.
Thanks, Heather!
